Hoven Farms
Hoven Farms is located in Eckville, Alberta. Hoven Farms raise certified
organic beef according to the organic standards set out by the USDA in the
NOP. Hoven Farms Beef is raised without antibiotics or growth hormones.
Hoven Farms feed only certified organic feeds and graze on certified organic
pastures. Hoven Farms use no chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides
on their land. They do not feed any animal by-products to our animals.
Hoven Farms Beef is processed at YB Quality Meats, a small family owned and
operated processing facility in Penhold, Alberta.

MacKay's Ice Cream
MacKay¹s scoops only super premium, hand made ice cream from fresh Alberta
cream. The ice cream is made, and has always been made, in a factory in
Cochrane, Alberta.
MacKay¹s Cochrane ice cream contains 17% butterfat. Most ice cream contains
10% butterfat. This is what makes MacKay¹s so rich and dense and creamy.
MacKay¹s produces more than 120,000 Litres of ice cream per year. That is
about 630,000 scoops. That represents every school age child in Alberta and
keeps 2007 cows busy per year.

Small in stature but big on flavour, Kicking Horse Coffee is nestled in the
heart of British Columbia's Rockies and at the headwaters of the mighty

Kobe Classic Beef
The product we sell is High Quality Marbled Beef that originates from
Japanese Wagyu sires and predominantly Angus cross females to create an F1
or F2 feeder cattle. The cattle are raised by our company and other
producers under Wagyu Canada Inc. programs. We finish the cattle at selected
feedlots that follow our feeding protocol.
The animals will range from 20 to 34 months of age at slaughter. A special
feeding program has been designed to resemble Japanese style feeding.
Selected feed ingredients utilized in that ration are oats, barley, beet
pulp, alfalfa pellets, supplement, barley straw, silage, salt, minerals, and
fresh water. Vitamin E has been added to the ration to enhance shelf life
and appearance of the post slaughter beef. These cattle are raised in our
hormone free program.

Japanese Wagyu / Kobe cattle and crossed with the best of Canadian
Domestic cattle to supply the consumer with an outstanding and enjoyable
beef eating experience.

water to drink, clean air to breathe, the finest barley to eat, and in a
hormone free, very healthy environment. This ensures only the highest
